Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars Preview

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars is coming to North American on January 26th, and to commemorate the
Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars

release (and provide Wii owners with a competent control scheme) MadCatz has announced their latest licensed FightStick peripheral, the first for the Nintendo Wii.
The stick is expected to debut at CES 2010 in Las Vegas this week and functions almost identically to it's PS3 and Xbox 360 brethren. In addition to standard features like the dual-speed turbo function, eight-button arcade configurations and an integrated D-Pad the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Arcade FightStick will also be the first wireless FightStick (it plugs into the WiiMote.) Other Wii-specific additions include a locking switch, Wii Home button, and stick switch that alternates between right- or left-sided playing styles.
Of course, the new FightStick isn't intended solely for Tatsunoko players and will be sold separately from the game. ?Many Wii owners are already enjoying Capcom fighting games via the Virtual Console facility," said Capcom VP of Business Development & Strategic Planning Christian Svensson. "With the launch of Tatsunoko VS. Capcom, we thought it important to give our fan base the opportunity to play with the Arcade FightStick.?

Divinity II: Ego Draconis

Divinity II: Ego DraconisDivinity II: Ego Draconis

In Divinity II: Ego Draconis, players find themselves once again in Rivellon, a timeless world full of awe and magic, shattered and frightened by the apocalyptic wars of the past. No one knows why so many people had to give their lives. Everything seems to be over, but the peace was deceptive, for the demon has returned and the horror once again runs its course.
Divinity II: Ego Draconis is the sequel to Larian Studios' Diablo-like Divine Divinity, which dug dungeons into PCs seven years ago. Most of today's gamers have probably never even heard of the original game, but that's OK thanks to a little creative storytelling that attempts to wipe the slate clean and bridge the gap for fans who may have been waiting for it since 2004's Beyond Divinity. Unlike the transition from Fallout to Fallout 2, though, the changes may come as a shock to adventurers who remember their time in the isometric world of Rivellon.

Eagle-Eye Converter brings mouse and keyboard gameplay to all PlayStation 3 games

PlayStation 3 gamers looking for keyboard and mouse controls on first-person shooters will soon be able to use any combination of their choice. Penguin United is getting ready to introduce PS3 gamers to the Eagle-Eye Converter. Although the PS3 supports USB devices, very few games actually support keyboard and mouse control (are there any outside of Unreal Tournament III?). With Penguin United's Eagle-Eye Converter, you'll be able to configure a USB mouse and keyboard for FPS games like Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, MAG and more.

Here are the Eagle-Eye Converter features, as noted by Penguin United:

- Customized Key Mapping Feature Transfers Command Data to Keyboard and Mouse.
- Same Data Transfer Rate as Original PS3 Controller for Greater Dexterity.
- Optional Turbo Mode for R1, R2, L1, L2 and the 4 Primary Action Buttons.
- Supports 2 USB Ports for Standard HID Keyboard and Mouse.
- Provides Turbo Function for Standard PS3 Controller when Not Using Keyboard/Mouse.
- Suggested retail price: $49.99

"One of the drawbacks with playing first-person shooters is the lack of speed and accuracy offered by traditional controllers," stated Richard Huang, President of Penguin United. "We found a simple solution by bypassing the controller and transferring the button features directly to the computer keyboard. The Eagle-Eye offers an amazing alternative for fans of shooting games."

Will the Eagle-Eye provide an edge over other FPS gamers using a Dualshock 3? Watch for a demo of the Eagle-Eye Converter at CES from January 7-10, at Booth #5413, North Hall.
