HERCULES — A 33-year-old Concord man prosecuted for numerous robberies of electronics stores around the Bay Area acquired two more felony charges from the city of Hercules, police said.
Michael Grayson, arrested by Oakland police in December, robbed GameStop, Radio Shack and Toys R Us stores in San Ramon, Union City, San Jose, Sacramento, San Mateo, Vacaville, Vallejo, Stockton, Modesto and several other cities beginning last April, Oakland police reported in December.
The robber took games and hardware for several popular video game systems, sometimes selling the stolen property back for cash at other stores. Police linked him to the series after they say he tried to sell a stolen game at an Oakland store in October.
Grayson, who was on parole for robbery, already faced robbery charges in Alameda and Santa Clara counties. Contra Costa authorities have since charged him in connection with the Sept. 23 armed robbery of the Hercules Radio Shack, police said Monday.
